Procedure for documenting entry and stay of foreign citizens on the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Region
The government of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, seeking to facilitate the entry of citizens into the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, informs about the procedure for obtaining permits that give citizens the right to enter the district without hindrance.
Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 470 of July 4, 1992 approved the List of Territories, with regulated entry for foreign citizens. In addition, by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 27, 1997. No. 1641 The Chukotka Autonomous Region was included in the List of Territories of the Russian Federation with a regulated visit for foreign citizens.
According to the orders of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation of 14 April 2006. No. 155 and dated September 10, 2007. No. 458 on the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Region there are certain rules of the border regime.
Taking into account the provisions of these normative legal acts, the procedure for coordinating the entry of foreign citizens and stateless persons into the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Region was approved in the territory of Chukotka.
This procedure is enshrined in the Agreement No. 132 of June 01, 2009, concluded between the Office of the Governor and the Government of the Chukotka Autonomous Region on the one hand, and territorial federal executive bodies competent in making decisions on entering the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, on the other hand, on interaction in work, in the preparation of documents for entry and stay in the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Region.
